Hotwire | Loveday Langton - Hotwire

I’m Group HR Director for Hotwire, and my team is responsible for everything to do with our people across Hotwire globally. We help to make sure that Hotwire is a fun, rewarding and exciting place to work. That means giving everyone the support, learning opportunities and experiences they need to achieve their career aspirations, whatever they may be. We are very focused on bringing talented new people into the team and we love watching people’s careers develop and flourish.

I started my career in PR, joining Hotwire as a graduate and working my way through the ranks in a client service role. I worked on campaigns for some amazing technology brands and enjoyed all the rewards and challenges of a career in PR, before realising that my heart lay in looking after our people. Eight years ago I made the move to HR, becoming Hotwire’s first HR manager, and since then I have built an HR team that has helped to support Hotwire – and our team’s – growth and success.

I love the people at Hotwire. My colleagues are smart, passionate, friendly and kind – a real joy to work with – and it’s exciting working with an international team of like-minded people. Working in HR at Hotwire is great because there is a genuine commitment to helping people achieve their goals – it’s so rewarding to be able to say “yes” when someone has an idea, and to work with them to make it happen. It’s a really exciting, buzzy atmosphere – it feels like anything is possible and as a team we feel valued and part of the company’s success, which is pretty special.

I love exploring new places and am looking forward to my children being old enough for us to dust off our backpacks and take to the road together. Until then, my three sons have introduced me to a world of football cards, lego (usually underfoot) and a very clear understanding of exactly what it is that makes a car cool.
